Current mood: frustrated

ARG...so frustrated
So long time no write....
But now seems like a good time....
So i finally sold my MRM with the haircut. And now after a month the buyer claims she still hasn't arrived.
i don't know what to do any more, I dont have the money to refund her....
She has been trouble from the moment i saw that doll.
I couldn't afford her in the first place. So the then seller agreed to do a partial trade for a Momoko.
When the momoko arrived the seller said it was broken when it just had a wobbly momoko neck >__<
Then he started to blackmail me saying he would post it all over the internet and ruin my reputation.
So i bought the doll back from him to make it stop.

Then offcourse when that was over  i couldn't look at my dream doll anymore without feeling totally horrible and sad.
So i put her on tib-x. somebody bid and won her.
I was super relieved....but then nothing. No response from the bidder. No messages..nothing
So i had to leave bad feedaback.....

Then afer a month or so i thought idd try again as i was now a member on plastic paradise and it looked good.
So i put her on there and I had somebody who would want her.
She could not pay all at once since her paypal was acting up.
she did pay evrything in about 6 payments over a period of 3 weeks.

The thing is now....i sent her priority on the 6th of july and she still hasnt arrived....
I dont know what to do.....its alot of money for me to just refund....then i would have lost my money and the doll...
I just want it to arrive at the buyers house and get the hell out of my life.
Its been about 6 months of trouble with the same doll and i am so done with her.

I called tnt but they cant come up with a solution. I went to the post office and they just said it should have arrived by now....

Thanks for letting me rant.....if anyone has a solution or a secret money stash i would love to hear it.

I'm so sorry to hear you're having to go through this :(
But it's not your fault if it didn't turn up if the buyer didn't purchase insurance, right? If insurance was an available option and she didn't purchase it, then that puts her at fault instead of you :) So you could tell her that.

I know how you feel. This must be a horrible doll year or something, because I've been scammed twice in two months, and both times, money couldn't be returned by paypal.

*hugs* Hang in there sweetie :(
If worst comes to worst, you'll have to tell the buyer that you just don't have the money right now and see if you can work out some sort of payment plan with her to refund the money.
But I really hope it doesn't come to that.
Good luck!

Hi, well she did not ask for insurance....but all buyers always think the seller is responsible. If the seller refuses to refund then you will be labeled as a scammer...but i did send all my packages signed for from that moment, so i know that the seller gets the packadge, so not to scam me...I never again want to hear that something did not arrive. It has never happened in all the years i have been collecting dolls.
She wants to wait 15 days and after that i am pretty screwed and i will have to pay back $250 >__<

What happend to you? :| How could somebody scam you! You are so sweet.
*hugs*
Your comment makes me feel a bit better, to know that somebody understands.

I think it's good that she's allowing 15 days, because sometimes, the post is so slow. I've heard rumour that the highest frequency of birthdays happen during summertime, so the post could be a little slow? I'm hoping that she'll receive the doll! Good luck!

The first time it happened to me was when I bought some taeyang clothes for about $40ish, and it was from a reputable seller with lots of positive feedback, but she started ignoring my emails when I asked when she would ship, and after a paypal claim, it appeared she had cleared her account and gone.

The second time is occurring now, with a seller on livejournal on 'pullips' called 'kanaflower'. She said she was a seller in japan and offered a horizon, one of my grail taeyangs. So I paid straight away, and those emails were ok. Then, when I asked about whether she had shipped a few days later, no reply. A day later, I tried again, and the email bounced back, saying the address didn't exist.
This has happened to two other people that I know of that fell into the same trap. It's absolutely awful, and I somehow don't think we'll get our money back. I tried contacting paypal as well and they're not doing a thing, even though her email doesn't exist anymore, the same email she's using for her paypal ~___~
It's kinda wrecking the whole doll hobby for me :(

but anyway! I went off-topic a bit there ^^"!
I really do hope that the doll arrives. Maybe it's just stuck in customs or something?
I had two dolls from canada get stuck in customs for two months! So it's possible that could've happened.

I really hope everything turns out ok sweetie!

Ugh how stupid of paypal....did you file a claim or was it after 60 days? That always helped for me as i have been scammed several times but never over $60.
it looks like the doll is going to cost me even more than it already has.

I feel like i dont want annything more to do with doll people....they are soo finicky and come down on you like a ton of bricks.
When all we do is try to be nice. I could never ever purposely scam a person. i could never sleep again.
